Guidance on buying back lost periods of pension, leave of absence and reserve forces leave.

Strike Action

If a scheme member is away from work without the permission of their employer due to being involved in a strike, the member's pension entitlement will reflect a break for any days they have been absent. 

If a member wishes to pay contributions for any strike period they will need to enter into a 'Full Cost' Additional Pension Contributions contract.
