As a member of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) it is possible, subject to certain conditions, to improve your pension entitlements by purchasing additional annual pension or paying additional contributions over and above the standard contributions that you already pay.

- Purchase of Additional Pension Contributions (APCs)
- Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVCs)
- Free Standing Additional Voluntary Contributions (FSAVCs)
- Stakeholder Pension Scheme
- Personal Pension Plan
